Rev. Russ Savage

After many years of dedicated service, Rev. Russ Savage is retiring as our minister at the end of August 2023. A grateful UUBRidge is considering how to proceed going forward.

Rev. Savage holds BA and MA degrees from the University of Maryland and a Master of Divinity degree from the Harvard Divinity School. He has also studied at the Andover Newton Theological School. Russ has served churches ranging in size from 50 to 800 members, located in Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, and Virginia. He most recently served as interim associate minister at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax. Before entering the ministry, he was an executive with AT&T for 24 years, retiring from Bell Laboratories in 1985. Russ and his wife of 50 years, Trish, live in Washington, DC. They have two adult daughters: a real estate executive in Washington and a social worker in Boston.
