Here in Virginia, weโll be able to observe a partial solar eclipse on April 8. At the peak of the partial eclipse here, the moon will cover about 87% of the sun. Tepp will describe how an eclipse occurs, where the path of totality is, at what times on April 8 weโll be able to see the partial eclipse here, and what conditions to expect during the peak of the eclipse. In addition, Tepp will discuss eye protection needed to safely view the eclipse.
