Unitarian Universalists tend to be known as civil rights activists. Members of UUBRidge joined hundreds of people from UU and other Virginia congregations in the 2023 “Day for All People” advocacy day in Richmond, sponsored by the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy (VICPP). The four 2023 advocacy priorities of VICPP will be shared, along with ideas about ways that congregation members can become more involved in advocacy for issues important to them.
