The Mannahoac Tribe Story and its relevance to the modern quest for Peace and Conservation (D. Caprara, P. Gaudette)

A conversation on the historical legacy of indigenous people of the upper Rappahannock watershed, the Mannahoac tribe,  and the relevance of this unfolding story to the modern quest for Peace and Conservation.  David Caprara of Fredericksburg, advisor to Global Peace Foundation and former head of VISTA volunteers and VA Department of Housing and Community Development, along with Rappahannock steward and conservationist Phillip Gaudette, will share findings of the Mannahoac Story Alliance which includes stakeholders from Rappahannock County, Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg and organizations including Germanna Foundation, Friends of the Rappahannock and Rappahannock Historical Society.
